Care of Paper provides an introduction to the materials and techniques of papermaking, how paper use and the agents of deterioration affect paper’s longevity, and how to improve storage and exhibit to increase that longevity. The course covers all paper types, including archival materials such as books and manuscripts, art on paper, oriental paper, western paper and 3-D paper.
