Northern States Conservation Center provides workshops

Working with individual museums, training centers and regional organizations, NSCC is committed to providing collection care information to the broadest possible audience.

Recently, disaster recovery workshops were held at the Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa for the Oklahoma Conservation Congress and at Yellow Medicine County Historical Society in Granite Falls for the Minnesota Alliance of Local History Museums. Initial feedback from videoteleconference participants at the second Association of South Dakota Museum's workshop, Storage for Infinity, held on June 11, indicates an increased comfort with the technology by both instructor and participants.
