A Holistic Approach to Collections Care in a Living History Environment. Presentation of work at Old World Wisconsin where training, staffing and policy changes have resulted in improved collections care. Presented with Ellen Penwell (curator), Jacob Conrad (assistant curator) and Tom Woods (director) of Old World Wisconsin at the Association of Living History Farms and Agricultural Museums (ALHFAM) annual conference in Waterloo, Ont. Canada. June 22, 1998. Resulted in formation of a new professional interest group on collections care in living history museums.

Instructor, Inorganic and Organic Materials Section, Collections Care Core Curriculum at the Campbell Center for Historic Preservation, Mount Carroll, IL. June 15-19, 1998 and June 2000. Five-day lecture on identifying and caring for materials found in history museums. Based on Bay Foundation model curriculum. In 2000, taught historical and ethnographic core curriculum sessions.
